So many things have changed in our lives, so we've adapted. The two biggest changes are (or will soon be) my taking on an outside the home job, and Bob taking over our eBay store. He's doing a wonderful job and I'm very proud of him.
It's a huge undertaking to tackle all of the inventory we've acquired while being enraptured by the fellowship of fellow eBay Thrifters, but he's doing a masterful job of it and I am so relieved it's hard to express my newfound feelings of contentment.
Right livelihood is a lot more than just having an ethical way to make a living, which eBay certainly is, but it's also got to be a good fit for your personality. What we've discovered over time is that I'm not good at running an eBay store, and Bob is. Not only that, he's actually enjoying the work, which I found to be soul suckingly sad.
Yes, I had some issues letting go and letting him find his own pace and style ... but we muddled through and I'm now able to focus on getting some of my projects going again. Like blogging ... and with a little luck, I'll be able to sew, knit, and crochet again one of these days.
Who knows? We might even start recording some short videos about things we've learned over the past few years messing around with this eBay opportunity. Stranger things have certainly happened.
We enjoy using the eBay App which you can actually get from Amazon.com of all places. I laughed when I saw that.
If you're new to eBay, there are a lot of good books on Amazon - as a matter of fact, that search I've linked there had at the time of this writing, over 1.5 MILLION results for "eBay".
There are also a lot of places online to hang out, many are Facebook groups. I'm not going there right now - it's way too easy to get excited and want to rush out and buy, buy, buy ... but the real "secret" to eBay success is to "LIST, LIST, LIST!".
